The Lone Blog Market This

Marketing, especially Internet Marketing, now that the Age of Technology is upon us, has been creative, inspiring, crazy, broad ranged, localized, maneuvered, criss crossed, hatched, exploited, loved, and genuine.

The ways we market, the advertisements we use, we, as marketers, inherently are seeking attention. Not necessarily to ourselves but to our products, services, designs, or companies. Attention first above all is the marketers goal. It's what we do with that attention, what we do to, with, and for our audience of guests eagerly awaiting an answer to their problem, question, or situation.

The question for all marketers then is "Are you giving an offering of a solution?". Or are you creating more problems for your visitor?

"Huh? What do you mean?" might be your reply here.

Here is an example. I recently talked to a brilliant lady who is learning marketing online. She is an Internet Marketer who has been led by "CULaters", the talkers of the Internet who sell everything and anything to their listeners and frankly take advantage of the "newbie learner" or especially the marketers who know a "little" and may be struggling (as we all do or have experienced, trust me, it's ok, you must climb the mountain or forge the stream to get where the view is better) and Mr. CULater Sells comes along to sell everything and anything to make a quick buck. Oh, they offer "solutions" or a "quick fix" to their visitors dilemmas, or what they say is a quick fix "All For Only $19.95!". Pretend this particular quick fix is a bright shiny capture page system that will "secure them a new list of clients". Yes, when marketed correctly, a bright shiny capture system will indeed, over time, offer their products and services to be viewed by a new audience but (always a big but, lol), on top of the confusion they had faced before they obtained this newest answer to their issue, on top of the overload bearing down on them from the problems they had before, they now must learn a new system, learn how to build a site with this system, learn how to then Market this new capture page alongside the other marketing they are doing presently, and oh! look! they can also market this new capture system as well!

Some may argue that "in the long run" you will be ahead with a shiny new capture system. I completely disagree. Become great (not good) at what you presently know first, focus on your goals and actually know what those really are.

No amount of money spent on a "quick fix" will ever be good "in the long run" because "Quick" and "Long" are antonyms, think on that. Spend your money on your business. Well, what does That mean? I am saying that marketers lose the very vast majority of their money (and sometimes before they ever do well in their business), by spending on tools to build, getting overwhelmed with learning and spending to learn.

In reality, to build the framework of your house you need only a hammer, saw, ax, and a measuring tool. The rest of the tools are convenience tools and then are only a convenience if you have the knowledge to use them or can learn well them quickly.

Some marketers lose their start up funds by purchasing "How to Information", paying someone to teach them either by a feeling of obligation (I will buy the tools you are offering because they taught me this) or by random purchases across the net of marketers selling information about how to market. What is your goal here? To build your business, not to become an open wallet for your personal mentors whenever they happen upon a new, shiny, exciting thing to market! The slogan "Be sue to sign up under me" comes directly to mind.

Spend your money on your business. A fair amount of MLMs or online work at home businesses with payplans fitted to a matrix require a monthly autoship. OK, your business, you are receiving a product or service in return for your loyalty in purchase every month. In turn, this company offers you an income if you find other like minded people who are excited about this business, are willing to also market to gain members, and are teachable to learning this system. Generally the term is "teachable" not "turn into prey".

Someone chooses to join your organization or group because they are extending trust to you and wish to build "this" business with You. Not line up to sell them various tools that they don't understand and frankly may not need. Believing you "need" a particular web site or capture page creation may be, in fact, that you just simply "want" it, prefer it, it may have become easy for you to use as opposed to another, or were told you need it.

Why do you suppose their are so many different brands of vehicles? Everyone doesn't drive a Buick or a Corvette. Spend your money on your business. Along with a monthly autoship, a great business choice will also offer free learning and free tools. Use them. Spend your time learning them. What is your goal? To succeed at Your business. Focus.

Spend your money on your business. Every affiliate link either needs a redirected URL from a site like GoDaddy, or you can use the free TinyURL site. If this is really the business choice for you, get a dot com or dot info from GoDaddy and redirect it to your affiliate site URL, blog or other site like FreeWebs that houses banners or links and information to your affiliate site (this second option is recommended over the first of redirecting straight to your affiliate site). So, how much did you spend? Around ten dollars or less for a GoDaddy domain URL. Spend your money on your business.

Now we come back to gaining attention and creating something for new visitors. At least two email addresses will be needed... Continued in Market This Part 2

Wealth Builders Web

Wealth Builders Web

What does Wealth Builders Web mean exactly for you? It is an acronym of sorts for the tidal wave of personal business opportunities available on the net today.

Is yours a Wealth Builders Web or a money drain? Let's see if that can be turned around. Any great company with an awesome product, service center, and support team can be turned into a profitable experience. But what does it take to get there?

Namely time, resource investment, and a knowledge of the net or willingness to learn. Is this something that anyone can do? Of course. Is this something that everyone should do? Probably not. Why? For the same reason that not everyone is a Dentist, or a Landscape Architect, or Service Industry Professional. It just doesn't suit all of the people all of the time. I know that myself, personally, had to change my major in college three times. The things I thought would be interesting and exciting to me, did not end up being interesting and exciting after all. The first two were not much of a challenge and the last choice was actually more than I expected. This can be the same with using the web for a business opportunity.

The choices are staggering and can become quite confusing. Be certain to do your research on all the companies, weigh your decisions, make your choice, and then focus on the system with that particular company. Look to the group to see what methods they are using for advertising and marketing. Get advice and gain knowledge by networking with and outside your group.

Signing up to any and all free information lists or ezines will help you with sales letters, emails, and even ad copy. Help yourself become a student of ad copy by viewing others advertisements at any free to view ad posting sites.

Get some reading in by visiting some online article sites and reading tips from other marketers in their articles. Then, try your hand at writing one.

The destination is Wealth Builders Web, the journey that takes you there is an exciting time learning experience, full of interesting friends, business options, and the wealth of the World Wide Web.

Internet Marketers The Idea Marketers

In my travels across the this World Wide Web, I have come up with another, maybe more explanatory name for Internet Marketers. The Idea Marketer is a much more fitting term for the brilliance that comes out of Internet Marketers.

Creation, artistry, and illusion are but a few of the wonders and mystique that surround this fascinating occupation. These listed and the powerful personalities that reflect this awesome fireworks display are the reason for the draw, the curiosity, and the excitement.

Sometimes in my work, I get very amused. Don't you enjoy watching an interesting situation being played out right in plain view, when the players have forgotten that people see what they are doing? They get so busy maybe, that they forget they could be witnessed acting silly, working hard, or trying to keep things secret.

Generally speaking, life on the Internet is sometimes silly, almost always working hard, and try as some may, nothing is ever a secret for long.

The whole premise of Internet Marketers is to reach out to new and interesting people, see places we can't get to readily, and to create wonderful, explosive artwork, sites, and ideas. But certainly, not to remain hidden, especially from our other Internet Marketing friends.

Internet Marketers by definition, are on the Internet, and usually for many hours a day. It can, at times, seem that you work alone. That it is just you in a room with your machine, the personal computer. With every keystroke, website, and photo we post, upload, or submit into the vast reaches of Internet space, those with a pc of their own, then know what you are doing, when you are doing it, and generally have a guess as to how many hours a day you spend doing it.

Underestimation of your peers in any business situation is more than likely an unwise choice. Get involved with your online friends and business partners. Let them know what you are doing, when it is working for you, and share something as you go. Leaving your friends in the dark will only darken your friendships. This is the biggest and most powerful business that by actually helping your team, business partners, and friends with your knowledge, will actually end up benefitting you as well.

The days of telling half instructions and leaving out some critical details, non or partial training are over. The quick change of the Internet also means the quick changes in strategy, marketing or otherwise, and without keeping your team, business partners, how about let's refer to them as what they are, friends informed and on top of their game, I fear maybe the "branding" of Internet Marketers may not be as favorable as "artist" for very long.

The Lone Blog - Accomplishing Goals

You ever feel like this? So have I.... Let's turn the tides on that feeling forever!

Accomplishing things in life are as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4.

1) You have to Know what you want
2) You have to Decide that you are getting it
3) You have to Create a Plan
4) You must be willing to Begin today

Goals are important because they keep you focused. They allow you to spend energy
on the right things, rather than focusing on things that appear as obstacles or
challenges along the way.

Several VERY IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER about GOALS:

1) They should be specific

2) They should be written down

3) They should be time stamped

4) They should be affirmed aloud every day

5) Long Term Goals are important. You should begin with the end in mind.

6) Short-term goals are just as important. A great time to start your short-term
goals is at the beginning of every month.

The SECRET to succeeding in any business is the ability to start FRESH!

* You get some rejection, start FRESH

* You have a slow month, Start FRESH

* You have some people drop out, start FRESH

* You have a need to make some money right away, start FRESH

Awesome Inspiration and Tips...

DUPLICATABLE

This is such a "buzz word" in and around the Internet marketing scene. It seems the chant goes "The system must be duplicatable." But, what do you suppose that means?

Let's step back and analyze this duplicatable scenario for a moment. Being an Internet marketer, like yourself, I am familiar with some top names and gurus in the industry. I am certain you could come up with at least a handful of names yourself.

Did every one of these leaders achieve their success with the same tools? The same time frame? Resources? Or the exact same methods? Interesting that should deduce the same answer as I came up with. :)

Now, they did all set goals, have and use a system that each designed to suit their individual circumstances at the time. But, were they the same goals? Or system? Or even circumstances?

Digging a bit deeper into these systems, you will note the length of these time frames are also a bit different. The years spent studying and learning and the individual span elapsed applying this new found knowledge in the Internet marketing scene, constructing their platforms. Take notice too, of the lifestyle differences both before success and after.

The "uber-successful" in Internet marketing today, come from an array of previous walks of life. From the service industry and blue collar workers to upper management professionals and prior brick and mortar business owners. Each having access to different monetary resources and time allotments to get their individual empires growing.

Consider further, and add another aspect of time into the mix. Have you ever heard someone comment, "I wish I had purchased beach-front property in Florida in the 1960's." ? Or the classic, "If I had only bought into Microsoft stock." ?

Am I saying that the ship has sailed? Absolutely not. Am I telling you to throw in the towel? Not in a million years. After ships sail, will there be no more transportation? Not likely.

What I am trying to convey is that these successful individuals are just that. Individuals who had a goal and who also had a plan and a system. A system that they designed from parts of other systems, that in turn, were created by other successful people.

The World, the people in it, and the Internet will change. These changes happen gradually, but happen they must. Look to change, not at it. Changes in systems are openings for our individual windows of opportunity. Our roads to the "uber-successful" highway that is Internet marketing. If we relay the duplicatable scenario as more of a guideline than a rule, with a general series of events and steps, sprinkled with the individually added flare and color of the teachable student, then we will finally squash at least some of the frustration and stress of walking the tight rope without a net.
